That being said, there are a few musical acts whose songs almost singlehandedly make people despise country music.

It is easy to get tired of Nickelback, and it seems as though everyone does. People usually hate Nickelback because they are the epitome of generic music.
Couple that with the fact that one of their lead singers is convicted sex offender, and you have a recipe for hatred. Many people are attracted to music for the artist’s voice, but Nickelback has no distinct voices, each member sounds almost interchangeable. Their music is not catchy or memorable, it is simply generic.
