We’re pretty sure that jon Snow is dead, right? After all, he was stabbed through the heart with a Longclaw, and while the Hound claims it’s not enough to kill a White Walker, he was pretty sure about it. But, is he, really? Is Jon Snow actually dead? Well, the short answer is that we don’t know if he is or isn’t.

There are a few reasons why we might think he lives, however So far, the TV showrunners have yet to confirm whether or not Jon Snow will survive his stab wound. And while we definitely want to see him live, in order to complete the storyline of his story, we have to wonder if that will happen.

In the books, the producers made a similar move, having the character resurrect from the dead in the final book. The producers have said that they’re not quite done with the character, and that they’re still considering what to do with Jon Snow.

He could just wander off into the woods and live out his days as a hermit, or he could be resurrected.

Does Jon Snow live after getting stabbed in the back?

First, let’s discuss the show itself. The books are much more clear about this. In the show, there are many hints that jon Snow is actually a Targaryen, but there’s nothing concrete to back this up.

In the show, he’s portrayed as a bastion of honesty, but in the books, he is actually rather duplicitous. As a result, both the showrunners and the books’ writers are to blame for the confusion surrounding We know that it’s possible for a person to survive a wound to the heart, spine, lungs, or brain.

But it’s extremely unlikely, especially when the injury is inflicted from behind or if the victim is unarmed. It’s even more unlikely if the victim is stabbed in the back. A wound to the spine could possibly allow for some minimal breathing, but would be incredibly painful.

While it is possible for someone to survive a wound to the spinal cord itself, The books and the show are not in agreement on this. In the books, Jon’s death is an almost inevitable event when he gets stabbed in the back. But in the show, he seems to be able to fight against the infection. And the producers even added a scene where Jon is shown sitting up in bed, before he is told that he’s awake and alert.
